Dont get me started on piracy first off microsoft charge almost double the price for vista and office in the UK so thats already pissed alot of people in the UK off! second if the software was cheaper more people would actually buy it but for the people who are trying to make a living off selling the programs that they made all for it! I just h8 big companys complaining about piracy when they make millions of pounds every day.
Nice web browsers! now which one to pick lol

You get exactly the same as with PIE / IEM because both use the same Flash plug-in (don't forget to separately install it AND enable it in the Settings in OpMob!)

Should be, but, to my knowledge, YouTube s still not compatible with version 7 (the current one) of the Flash plug-in. That is, it's a no-go for both IEM/PIE and OpMob (let alone the, Flash-compliance wise, even worse NetFront).
That is, you'll need to
1, either convert the videos to be able to play (I've written a tutorial on this some months ago - use the forum search engine in the Tips and Tricks forum) or
2, use Orb to stream it

OMG and Flash Lite 2.1 confilcts with Flash Mobile 7 "bigtime" :hide: on any app regardless. (Abobe's fault)

By default, OpMob does NOT contain any Flash Lite support (dunno why they advertise the app as being Flash Lite-compliant). That is, you don't need to be afraid of OpMob's Flash Lite clashing with the "real" Flash plug-in - you can safely install the latter.

I'd say, currently, Opera Mobile is the best, hands-down, if you take everything into account (standards compliance, volume slider compatibility, Flash, JavaScript, AJAX, speed, memory usage etc)
Hope Deepfish will really become a mature and real product.

Downloaded Opera 8.65 Beta and was dissapointed to see that some of the sites I use on a regular basis that did not work on the previous version, still do not work on the new beta!!!
This is definitely a deal breaker for me and it was THE only reason I did not purchase Opera before.
As an example take: aol.com - while both PIE and Netfront v3.4 (Beta) do allow you to log into e-mail via either the old classic login or https://my.screenname.aol.com; Opera 8.65 Beta does not allow you to login at all - either way; despite my changing Settings to be identified as a "Desktop Computer" it still gives you a bad browser error: "We are sorry, but you will need to enable cookies, and Javascript to use your Screen Name with this site." (and yes both Cookies and Javascript were already enabled!) Even trying the classic login which does not use Javascript doesn't work!!!!
Also, is there a way to hide the location toolbar and scroll bar? That would make Full View browsing almost perfect!!!
On a positive note, I am quite impressed w/ several improvements already mentioned; but, what good is paying for a browser that doesn't allow you to access some of your key web sites...
cheers

LHR, hanks for the problem report; I'll look into the JavaScript code of aol.com to see what causes OpMob to disfunction so that I can tell the OpMob folks exactly what to fix.

Hmm, I didn't know a Public BETA release would even be considered "pirate".
This really seems silly to me to even suggest this when we are sharing the information of PUBLIC released BETAS.
It appears your information was sent after Microsoft closed the door to even try
it. Oh well, so much for good information.

Menneisyys - thks for taking the time to look into this bug.
OpMob is very priviledged to have someone of your caliber in their Beta team; I've read many of your thorough reviews and learned tons from it. I did always thought how foolish of some of these companies not to hire someone with your expertise and experience to help them vastly improve their products.
On a very positive note, I just tested restoring different configs into my Linksys wireless travel router (WTR54GS) from my X51v (A12), and this new beta works perfectly!!!! It is THE only WM5 browser that I have tested that can actally Restore a Linksys router config file - even the previous OpMob 8.60 couldn't do this and neither does the latest NF 3.4beta.
Kudos to Opera team....now, if I could just login into aol and a couple of other sites...
cheers

Does Opera STILL not support mapping functions to hardware keys!? And don't even THINK about responding with, 'well you can use the whole navigation pad and one unchangeable action button'.
I have *SIX* buttons on my axim, and I want to map them to functions that help me browse faster! Why does Opera refuse to implement such a simple feature? Are they stupid?

If you read Werner's post, you'll note he said it's a free upgrade to all 8.6x users...
Honestly, I find the hardware button issue to be less important to me than the fix for non-keyboard SIPs - that's one thing that REALLY bugged me about Opera 8.6x for the longest time.

Does anyone have issues composing gmail messages in "desktop computer" mode? for some reason, on my x51v, I can't see anything on the right side when I scroll - half of the text-entry fields have been chopped off...

Yes, I've been bugging the Opera folks for 8 months on this issue (along with explaining how this should be implemented programmatically, particularly because input.ini and the keyboard support is already there). While I certainly understand implementing for example Flash and SmartSKey support, getting rid of the One column bug etc. were far more important, I do hope they DO implement this feature too.
