Anyone using EMOZE and OWA?

Is anyone using emoze to access their email using the OWA option? Emoze works great with the pc connector. The latest version allows access w/out the pc connector if you have Outlook Web Access (OWA). I've tried it and I keep getting an error to check my OWA credentials. Emoze tech support is telling me my user name, password or domain is wrong. I know it isn't because I can access our OWA website on my laptop or using the IE browser on the Ax.

Any thoughts or anyone using it?

I never knew you could do that, I'm gonna take a crack at it.

*Edit, no wonder. I don't have Exchange Server...

They slipped it into the last release on March 15. If I could get it to work I'd love it.

I just got Emoze after weeks of trying to get the WM5 "inbox" to work. Even got a couple of guys from our IT department to try and they couldn't get it going either. Emoze has worked very well for me with the PC Connector. But even though I have Outlook web client available it simply won't connect.

Sounds like my problem. What error message are you getting?

I usually get the message that " can not connect with the current settings". But wait. . . I just tried it with OWA selected, not PC Connector, and it actually worked!! Geez, not sure what to say. I guess I'll try the OWA for a while and see if it does work with my office computer shut off tomorrow, that should be th best test of OWA I guess.

I tried Emoze with the OWA tonight at home and it now doesn't work. PC Connector is still fine. I'll check tomorrow with our IT folks about other web addresses associated with the Outlook Web Client. (Apparently there are a few of them.)

Thanks. Let me know. I suspect it's on their end. I certainly know my password, etc.

This seems to be really hit or miss. Today, neither the PC Connector or the OWA works. I haven't changed anything on my Axim and I even called into work and asked a colleague to check to see if my computer was on in my office. I really want emoze to work so I don't need to travel with a laptop but I'm starting to wonder if I will ever get it working with some level of reliability. Or is it an IT thing yet again . . . Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Oh yeah - I'm getting an "Error 80" - it wants me to check my credentials.

Thanks, ralarosa. As I said I really want this to work and if the emoze folks ever got it to a point that it was stable and reliable quite frankly I wouldn't mind a monthly fee as long as it wasn't excessive. I look forward to hearing back from you.

@ralarosa

i have EXACTLY the same symptoms as you: Emoze tells me my OWA credentials are wrong even though I know they work (they work with OWA in a PC browser and they work with Outlook over HTTP).

i have tried every which combo i could dream of with the OWA URL (http vs https, ip[ address vs url, etc...) and variations on how to enter my user name and domain (have tried domain/username separate or together in the user name field), but t no avail.

driving me nuts!!!

so i mailed emoze support (around 5 times), sent them my emoze log file, and in 3 days have heard nothing. :realmad:

i think they simply have not finished the PPC client properly! after all, the latest release was dated 15 March, while the OWA push announcement was made on March 27.
watching this thread with baited breat + will post if i make progress

I know it sounds sorta' silly but. . . I think we should all try emoze this evening, both OWA and PC Connector and report what happens in this thread. I just tried both and got "folder list exchange 100%" in the OWA, (but no new emails are showing up) and "PC connector down" the other way. 'Just a thought.

Another update - PC Connector problem turned out to be a Microsoft update/restart leaving my office computer out of sorts. PC Connector now running fine. OWA still down after a number of URL "short cut" change attempts. I've gotten good response from emoze tech support and will report after I hear back from them.
