I've been looking around for one but i've had no luck.
I want weights/measurements/miles/kilometers/ounces/pounds, etc.
It would be nice but not necessaty if the program was VGA too.
One freebie that comes to mind is ConverterCE v1.8c , though I've not tried it in WM5.
Another freebie might be MH Conversions 1.0. Neither I believe are VGA, but might give you an idea of what you'd like.

Force
Pressure and stress
Line density
Time
Density
Spread rate (by volume or mass)
Computer
Angular measurement
Torque
Mass
Volume
Length
Power
Energy
Temperature
Thanks Solara. I'd heard of Calc98 but never checked it out before. I downloaded it and will install it. Their site sez I have to register the product but there are no time-outs built in so if I don't it will continue to work. That's important because I don't like to give out my details to just anyone who asks.:hide:
I have the freeware version installed and I've never registered it. I like the ability to convert with the push of one button in Calc98.
You set up the units you want to convert from/to with the UNIT button at the top row. Then anytime you want to convert a number, you just type in the number, and press CNV>. The only problem is once you close out the program (not minimized, but completely shut down) and restart again, it doesn't remember the unit conversion you last used, and you have to reset it through the UNIT button. But I hardly ever close out my calculator when I'm at work, so I just have to do it once.
The good part of calc98 is that it combines a fully functional calculator so you won't need to use two software. The bad part is, of course, less straight-forward to use than some plain converters.
I've been usinf Calc98 off-and-on for 5 years. Great product, considering it's free. Very comprehensive unit converter, and very good scientific calculator.
I think (but I'm not sure) that Calc98 lets you add additional conversion factors into it's file, too. Anyone try it?
