I looked at this site:

it mentions a manual for NoteM but the NoteM website is no longer available:

Notem is discontinued, so its site is long gone.

Unfortunately the site is blocked in the internet archive by a robots.txt I used to be able to get in. Maybe when the site is repurchased....

I had trouble with NoteM on x51V. It is not just a VGA problem it would freeze up and then I would have to soft reset. It would work a couple times then freeze. It did not matter what I did. I hard reset and just loaeded NoteM and using real world experiements it crashed the unit. I do not recommend it on the x51V. It worked great on the x30h though.

Well, notem was discontinued before the wm5 era, so its only good up until 2003se. Its great freeware, and its too bad it had to be given up on.

They are pdfs. I reccomend saving them to ur pc, "save target as" before viewing them.

I got a problem, not knowing how to fix, After I start recording, my axim shuts off because of the time limit to dim then go standby. Does NoteM still record after it goes into standby? if not how could I fix this?

Notem must not override the battery settings. The only way to fix that would be to change the settings yourself, or find some third party program.
