Software for initiating a hard reset

I need to do a Hard Reset on my Axim X50v with WM5 A02 however all the software I have tried fail and only complete a soft reset.

PHM Task Manager
DinarSoft Handy Menu (Supposedly works with WM5)
Wei's Soft Hard Reset

Does anyone know of any other software out there that does work as I can`t use any hardware buttons due to a malfunction?

I don't think that there is software that will hard reset- that kind of functionality is not in the Windows API because malware would love it :)

psshutxp will do it... well it does in 2003.

my vario II has that option in the control panel, although my wm5 axim doesn't

Yah... it works in 2003SE but not WM5... Handy Menu is supposed to work in WM5 but I tried the Hard Reset and it just did a normal reset. I might just have to live with reverting back to 2003SE then go forward to WM5 all over again... so annoying...

SkTools can do it, and I think MemMaid as well. They're not free, but you can hard reset during the trial period.

Moved to Utilities.

Pocket Mechanic has that functionality too. So you have lots of things to try :).

I'd get SK Tools - a great set of utilities, definitely is worth the money.
