While using my wireless LAN, I can view files on my main PC (with file explorer), but there is no option to open them, only Rename, Copy, & Paste. I can't get to them through applications. Obviously I could copy them over to my Axim, but I would prefer to use them directly from the network.

Does anyone know a utility that will allow you to map a network drive, or failing that, a utility that will let you open files over a network?

I use Net Use. It allows you to map remote folders to directories on your PPC. It is easy to use and will automatically mount shares on boot if they are present.
