I downloaded Wisbar onto my laptop. Went to the folder it was in and what do I do next to get it onto my ppc. Do I just drag and drop into a folder. If so what folder should I put it in. Someone else said that they put all their apps on a cf card, if I do that will I be able to run wisbar if the cf card is not in. Thanks for any help.

I haven't loaded Wisbar specifically, but they're all pretty much the same. If you get a ZIP, unzip it.

The easiest is to plug you Ax into your PC and let it synch before the next step. (You don't have to, it's just easiest for me).

Then run the exe. This will install the app in the PC. You will see a message box to the effect of "Do you want to install to the default directory". If you are installing to RAM, click yes. If you are installing to Flash or memory card, click no, then select your location.

The program will send files to your Ax, then put up a message box to the effect of "Check your PPC and see if anything further needs to be done".

Now your Ax will show a progress bar on its screen. When it is done, it will put up some kind of acknowledgement message.

That's it. If you decide to remove the program, you can use ActiveSync's "Add/Remove Programs" feature.

Good luck, and enjoy your Ax!

Yes, main memory is best, or Built-in Storage. The idea is to have it on the machine even when the other storage is removed. If you put it on a removable card and have to soft-reset and the card has been removed, it won't be there to startup. So keep it in main or built-in memory.
