SharpVault

Hello:

I just found this relatively new application to keep track your passwords, credit cards and other confidential information at FreewarePPC. From reading its description, it appears to encrypt all of its data using RC4 (similar to eWallet, etc.). From the screenshots on the SharpDeck webpage, it looks capable.

It is free, and I'm wondering if anyone here on AximSite has tried it. I've downloaded it and will try it out on my Axim tonight...

I'm currently using it. Just use one password will display a list of items that you've entered. It's easy to use except the edit command doesn't seem to work - it acts like you're trying to add something new. Anyone else had that problem?

Nope, I just installed it and the edit function works fine. Did you select one of the items first before trying "edit"?

I select an item, choose "Edit", and I'm presented with a bunch of blank fields.

Edit is working fine for me, too. This little package seems to handle all of my password needs!

I just tried the program on my son's Axim with PPC 2002 and the edit function works just fine. I think there is a problem with Mobile 2003. Anyone with 2003 get the edit to work like it should?

I have tried many password apps....mobipassword is the best. Well worth the $30. It is the only software that I have found that will allow you to associate accounts with a login on the web and automatically log you in! It works flawlessly, too.

Wow, great program. Edit works on my end as well. I suggest a reinstall (afteer a backup of course) and then a hard reset :) - Hey I now qualify to be Dell CS!!

Disclaimer - the hard reset thingy was just a joke, as we all know a hard reset doesn't really do anything except frustrate the hell out of you if you do not have a viable backup.
