same boat here exactly - brand new Axim X5 with WM2003 arrived yesterday. . .

My symptoms are identical to those described by blubottlemax and Monnie.

If anyone learns of a patch please post here. . .this thing looks like a must have for me but I'm not buying if I can't get it working (obviously).

How long is the demo good for? I hope it doesn't expire before the fix is released.

I got this email today, but I can't even get to the option they are talking about. My bar doesn't scroll. :(

Thank you for your reply. We are currently looking at connection issues
for Journal Bar and during our testing on devices running PPC2003
Journal Bar appears to be updating as usual. Could you try adjusting
the connection settings on your device to see if this helps?

On the top bar there is an icon for connections. Tap it, and select
"Settings". You should be able to switch between "Home" and "Work", and
should be able to add proxy information. Please note, you may need to
soft reset the device to switch between work & home.

I had it working...got the weather and all. Then I noticed last night that the weather had not updated since Tuesday. I tried everything and could not get it to update. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now I am at the same point you are. I scrolled down like it said to. Now I am stuck with the webpage icons (movie times, reviews, etc). The explorer icon is flashing, but I can't do anything. Grrr.... thought it was taken care of. Anyone had any success with this yet?
