can't uninstall activesync on PDA.
And it won't downgrade if I reinstall it on my desktop.

You can't uninstall ActiveSync on your Axim, it is built into ROM. As for on your desktop, you have to have Active Sync 3.7 or higher (3.7 is top at the moment) to sync with WM2003 (aka PPC 2003).

WayneAke..

I hope what they said is clear. The version of ActiveSync on your AXIM is completely independent from the version on your desktop. ActiveSync on the AXIM is in the factory loaded ROM, and cannot be changed without a ROM update from DELL.

You are always free to change what version of ActiveSync you run on your Desktop.

If I choose for example Activesync 3.5 it wont communicate with the PDA. Because the PDA has version 3.7. I have spoked with DELL technical support, who suggested me to flash the PDA with PPC02 instead. But this didn't work

Dell Support tried to help me with the downgrade to PPC02 but its not possible.

Thanks for your information guys..

ActiveSync 3.7 is for the desktop. It is totally independent from the Activesync in any PDA. So don't mess with the PDA's Activesync. As suggeted before, uninstall activesync in your PC and install ActiveSync 3.5 on your PC.
