Just received my replacement ax with ppc2003 and tried to sync with my desktop which has activesync version 3.5. Got an incompatiblilty error message. Is the only way to uninstall reinstall or can someone provide me with a link to just upgrade.

Go to the Mircrosoft Mobile website. Its not hard to find. They have a link to activesync 3.7. You can upgrade it from there.

Actually I received activesync 3.7 with the delivery of my ax and I have installed on my desktop 3.5. So should I uninstall 3.5 and install 3.7? or should I install 3.7 over 3.5?

You can just install 3.7 over 3.5. I did it the other day and it works great.
