I am using yahoo and when I log in it gives me a message stating that the browser is not supported. I need internet exporer 5 or higher. I have been to the web site but have not seen what I need. How do I do this upgrad so I can check my email?

Well you can download a program called RegKing that will fool other sites into thinking you have IE 5 or later. BUT it will keep Mobile sites from detecting if you have Pocket IE.

Download here.

Hey cageyjames you stated that the program you suggested would keep Mobile sites from detecting if you have Pocket IE.
How would this be a bad thing? I am new to all this. Could you give me an idea of the type of things I could be missing or what it would mess up? I can then figure out if I want to install this or not. The main reason I went wireless is to check my email and now I cant do it.
Thanks

Well, go to Pocketpcthoughs.com and aximsite.com. See how their page detects that you have a mobile browser? Some other sites do that too... We are working on ours, but we don't plan to detect the browser, just create another URL to ours. Its not life or death, but if you pay for PocketPCThoughs forums, you'll never be able to see them because the forum software over there thinks you have windows, not pocket pc... Make sense?

I am trying to connect to inotes, the internet version of Lotus Notes. Inotes will only work with IE 5.01 or higher. I have used RegKing and it did not work. I also used NetFront v3 and it did at least get inotes to ask me to sign in, but still did not display any content. Does anyone know of any other browser that might be able to fool inotes into thinking it is the real thing?
