im trying to syncronize this board so i can check it out on the go, which means im syncing the archive page and want to sync deaper into the pages about one or 2 links, yes i know about dls but i dont care at the time, and i want to control when it syncs so i dont have it slowin me up when im surfin the net.

on the pc go to tools>sychronize>the click on properties on the one you want. then the download tab. then click select how many pages deep you want it to download

ive done that, but how do i get it on the ax? its set to sync the favs but it wont sync IE favs, in fact it not syncing anything.

You have Mobile Favorites right? ActiveSync doesn't sync just any old favorite.

Once you create some Mobile Favorites, use the Synchronization Manager from IE (Tools->Synchronize...) and select each one's Properties (or you can right-click the mobile favorite from the main favorites menu and select Properties from there). Once they're all setup, click the Synchronize button. IE will download everything you have told it to, and ActiveSync will send it to your Pocket PC.

You might want to reconsider!

I tried setting this board and other boards up through Mobile Fav's. It worked well and you can set your links up to 3 deep. The problems is the download beyond 1 link is HUGE! IIRC, I set mine for 2 links deep with a 5 MB max and it still couldn't pull the whole thing down, even with Off-Site links "Off".

yes i knoticed that, i select sync the html file ONLY, take out the pics, javascript.

ok, synced board through 1 link to start, sync nothing appears in the ax's favorites, it doesnt sync nothing big either says checking for changes and sez its done. oh, and yes i do have it set to sync the favs.

Try deleting all your Temporary Internet Files on both your desktop and Axim, including the offline pages on your desktop.

Then resync the favorites in IE.

I have similar problem. I could create "Mobil Favorite", sync. So the link did show up on "favorite" folder on my Ax. But that was it. When I tried to surf offline, it said "Unable to connect with current settings. To change your connection settings, tap Settings." Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
