mpg/mpeg player and avi player.

Does a freeware prog exist that plays mpeg/mpg files that supports fullscreen and also resizes the video to fit the screen?

And also is there a freeware that supports avi files? and also supports fullcreen... what i said up there ^.

Thanks, Derek

Check the multimedia forum for details on software and encoding video for Pocket PC. You can rarely count on getting good results from simply copying media that was intended to be played on a desktop system over to a handheld. If you put the time and minimal effort into re-encoding the video for the Pocket PC screen, you'll be amazed at the quality you can achieve.

Search the forums, or look in the downloads section, for 2 apps.

PocketTV will play mpeg's. PocketMVP will play mpeg, avi, and many other formats. Both are freeware for personal use.

I know that PMVP will resize and rotate views, but it takes up a lot of resources from the processor. Far better to re-encode.
