Since I have bought PI and am loving it. Should I uninstall the calendar, contacts and task feature that was loaded with the Axim?

Sorry, those are part of the PPC OS. You can't delete them. (And, it might come in handy to have access to the root functions someday.)

PI uses the same databases as those products for data. Although you are not able to uninstall them, as deichenlaub pointed out, you can map the buttons on the Ax to open PI instead of them. I think it's in the Advanced tab.

I have mapped the buttons to open PI instead of the default apps. I didn't realize they used the same db though. Good to know. Thanks for the help.

Here's how to delete, rename a link

You can, however, go into the Windows directory, then click on "Start Menu", and then "Programs", (you can do this in the "Settings" directory as well), and then delete the link to the real app that resides in the /Windows directory. Note that you are JUST deleting the link to the real app. This link is only 1k.

After doing so, when you click on START, Programs, the link will no longer be there.

Incidentally, you can rename the links too from the /windows/programs/ directory. For instance, you can change the name, "Pocket Word", to "Word". This way, you only have one line of text that displays below the icon in the "Programs". Now, if I could ONLY find a way to make the icons appear in a LIST format, instead of as a HUGE icon! If anyone know how I can do that, PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSEEEE tell me. I do not want to instlal yet another app just to do this. There must be a hack somewhere in the registry that will allow me to do this.
