when i go to internet explorer and have a internet connection through my computer and type in a new web address or use my mobile favorites it says that the page you are looking for has not been found.??the wierd thing is the first day i got my dell i did the same thing and it worked fine?:crooked:

If I'm out of range or didn't get a complete ip lease, I get this message. My Dell wifi card will allow me to repair my connection to correct the ip lease and I'm back up and running. If I just get a white page when clicking on a link, re-run welcome.exe in the \windows folder.

I'm no expert on this, but some of this has been fixed by one of the patches on the Dell website - I haven't personally installed them, though, because in the end - - - surfing on my axim just isn't the same as wifi surfin on my IBM thinkpad - which is nice and light and sits on my lap.

Don't forget - most pages are built to be seen on a computer screen, not on a pda.

Frankly, Avantgo works fine for most of what I care about for my pda - recent news, sports, etc.

By the way, there once was an aximsite mobile version. . .I haven't seen it forever, though. Too bad.

How can you find them on the Website? where are they located?

The links to patches were here on the axim site. Just search for patch maybe and then you can find it.

The error only applies on selected pages, if you are getting this error everywhere it's not going to be the patch specifically that will fix it.

Is it getting an IP address? Can you ping it?

Well i'm using my cable for an internet connection and yeah it is only certian web pages that have the errors.

I just looked on the site and i couldn't find any patches that would fix the problem. Please give me a web address so i can see were the patch is.

None that will address your problems. Netfront and Thunderhawk are both well worth the money.
