How do I add words for autospelling? Is it possible? It's a pain when I have to keep typing an address or someones name over and over again. TIA.

Maybe you mean auto-complete? The theory is that the PPC adapts to your words. If you use a word a lot, it will add it to the list for you. If you don't like the way this algorithm works, tell Bill, because I don't think there's an alternative.

If you did mean autocomplete, I can attest to the fact that it picks up new words that you use on a regular basis. As a grad. student in engineering, I use some pretty strange words and it is picking them up as I go

Conversely, is there any way to *exclude* a word from autocomplete while otherwise keeping autocomplete turned on? I love the functionality of autocomplete and I don't want to have to turn it off, but it has "learned" several of my passwords - I'd rather it not do that. Any suggestions?

I agree with the original poster. It will not keep my email address and usually give plurals to words. I find it only marginally helpful. I guess its better than nothing.

Someone posted a few months back that the autocomplete 'dictionary' gets cleared every time you do a soft reset and that gels with my own experience with it. There doesn't seem to be any way to add words permanently.

As for passwords, the 'trick' is to use passwords that include a number or other symbol. The autocomplete may learn part of it but won't keep the whole password.
