Mad HELP! MS Reader problem

Sorry if this is a repeat of any questions asked earlier (I did a search and could not find the answer). I am also having problems with MS Reader and the free ebooks. I d/l an ebook and it is on my Axim, but when I try to open it, it just switches me to MS Reader and nothing happens or I get a message saying you cannot make annotations to this book. I have it in my personal folder of my ppc. t doesn't show in my library. It reads fine on my PC. I have read tips from various sites on this and I cannot seem to get them to work. If anyone can help I would appreciate.

I do have the current version of MS Reader 2.2.2 on my ppc 2002 and it is activated. I have installed/uninstalled and soft reset my Ax a number of times and cannot read the book. If you cannot help with this, can you suggest another program that would read the books? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if this is the answer, but how about moving the location of the book in your Axim? I have heard about difficulties detecting files when they are located beyond the root directory. So perhaps what you could do is to put it in My Documents and see if that helps. Also, make sure you have the latest version of Reader on your Axim.
