Mad Intellisync 5.1.2

I have Intellisync 5.1.2 installed (with the PPC 2003 patch) on my laptop and I have a Dell Axim 400 Mhz with PPC 2003 A05 and a 256 MB SD card.

Here's an issue I have been having OVER and OVER again. Whenever I try and sync with GroupWise at work, Intellisync reads my database and somewhere it tells me that it's "Unable to read application data" When I called Pumatech on this, they told me my handheld databases were corrupt and I had to hard reset the unit. So. to my dismay, I did.

Syncing worked fine then. 2 days later I tried to sync the unit again and got the same error. Once again pumatech told me the database was corrupt and to hard reset the unit. Well, I wasn't playing this game twice.

I decided to wait until the PPC 2003 update was available. I upgraded to PPC 2003 (which pretty much forces a hard reset). After the update, I enetered some stuff in my calendar and tried to sync, only to have the damn thing give me the same error. So, another call to Pumatech with the same damn answer, my database was corrupt on the PPC and I needed to hard reset my handhelp.

Well, at this point I was pretty pissed off. So, I went home and bought a copy of "The Missing Sync for PocketPC" so I could sync the PocketPC with my MacOS X machine at home. Well, at home the machine synced beautifully.

I can get the handheld to sync with Intellisync if I NEVER enter a single thing into the handheld and simply enter it all in GroupWise and sync, but this obviously unacceptable behavior.

My 30 days of free support for Intellisync has now run out, so I can't call Pumatech for assistance.

Has anyone else had experience using Intellisync and having similar problems? I AM NOT hard resettting the unit yet again.

Just out of curiosity, can you open the "corrupted" databases with the Calendar, contacts, etc? If so, then the databases are not corrupted. If not, then they are, and you can focus on how that happened.

I can open them no problem

I can open the databases without issue in the built in apps and using Pocket Informant.

I have the patch installed and it still won't sync, which is really annoying. Pumatech still says my databases are corrupted, but how the hell do they get corrupted after only one sync? I found another product called PortaMail that syncs with GroupWise. That product has NO PROBLEM syncing whatsoever. As soon as they fix one little outstanding issue, I'll be spending my money on that product.
