I know there was a thread on this but i accidenty deleted the avantgo application on my dell! i want it back! can someone give me a link to where to download it! i tried a hard reset, its still gone!

You should be able to go to www.avantgo.com and redownload the necessary software (and the latest version btw). Also, it might be on your CD. Good luck, I use avantgo all the time and love it!

where do i go on the website though, and ya i used avantgo a lot up until now.

You need to sign into your Avantgo account in the upper right: https://my.avantgo.com/home/ .. If you don't have an account then you need to create one ... Then you need to click on the "My Account" tab on the right .. Under "AvantGo Software" you need to click "Software downloads" and follow the instructions ...

I tried that. It didn't work. I think becuase i deleted avantgo on the rom memory too.

What exactly didn't work when you went to avantgo.com?

I went to the place to download after i logged in as Planet-Ed said and then i did every thing fine. and synced something (not sure if it was Avantgo App.) Then i went to programs and i didn't find Avantgo. I went to avantgo on PIE and it said you have to sync to get avantgo (it said that before i 'downloaded' the App) So i synced it again and same thing. When i looked on the CD it had avantgo listed but not as a download. I thought someone could copy the Avantgo App. to their computer from their Dell and make it avaible for me to get on this thread. Can SOMEONE PLEASE do that.

Here's how to send it to me...
1. open file explorer on your dell or whatever.
2. go to windows > Start Menu > Programs
3. Click and hold on the Avantgo App. and click copy on the pop up menu.
4. Go to My Documents and Paste it there.
5. Sync Dell
6. send that file from computer to this thread.

Whoever does this for me will be doing a BIG favor for me! Thanks

I got my Avantgo to work. So no one needs to do what i previously said (like anyone would anyways). But i think everyone should know what to do when they delete the Avantgo App. and then want it back. Heres how go to the activesync window on your computer and right click on the the Avantgo Word in the list (if it's in the list, if not click on the options icon and put a check by Avantgo. Then repeat the previous process) and click on settings (you can't click on settings while it's syncing) and clear your log-in name so there is nothing in the blank for the Username. Then sync it. It will restore Avantgo and put the default username. Then after it is done disconnect the Dell and go to Start > Settings > Connections Tab > AvantGo Connect > Properties and put your username and password in. Then go to your computer and go to the Avantgo settings and put in your Username and Password there too. Finally connect your Dell and you are DONE!!!:)
