Anyone know how to change the orientation of the screen from veritical to horizontal? its irritating having to scroll back and forth to read each line of text in an e-book in reader. Thanxs.

I agree...I'd like to know myself. I've toyed with it plenty and have been unable to come up with anything...

You have to enable the button.. Go to Preferences, Toolbar. At the bottom is a button called Rotate View or something like that. You can only have certain number or buttons enabled at once, so you may have to disable one of the others before you enable this one. Anyway, it's in there.

Oh, and I find it rotates the WRONG WAY for me.. So I press the rotate view button three times to get the orientation. Keep pressing it and it moves 90 degrees each time.

That sorta did it for me...But I still have to scroll back and forth - Even in landscape mode...Maybe the pdf I put in only supports a certain range and is meant for desktops...

Thanks...on my part - Hope it helps you, crsrfs

There is something else called REFLOW MODE. When you use AS to copy the PDF to the Axim it will tell you that it's tagging it for reflow. It can significantly bloat the size of the PDF but it allows the fixed paragraphs within the PDF to be formatted for the Axim screen. Try using both reflow and landscape and you might have more luck.

For me the added bloat of reflow wasn't worthwhile.. I just scroll..

Adobe, rotate screen

yes the preferences/ tools / worked very well
but on the bottom bar if you hold it instead of tapping it. it will also give you the option of direction of rotation.

I use pdf995 to print all my documents to pdf format for saving and emailing./
dont know if reflow works on my home grown pdf files.

But the more I use my dell the more I find everything it needs comes Free from somwhere. so the less i have to load on it.
default will do everything you really need.
except midi files havent found that yet.
