Fixed Minimise execute function for non-Close icons.

Fixed Menu Bar image alignment bug.

Added preview of BMP files in BMP Browser dialog.

Fixed resource leeks in Icbar.exe

Fixed Icbar Menu popup on execute so that the menu appears on every launch attempt after Icbar is running, rather than every second one.

Made small change to the way Icbar returns to Today screen or top most application after an application closes. (Hopefully preventing soft-rests on some devices)

I am currently using Icbar v1.1 beta, then today i saw that there is a new version. So me being a fan of icbar immediately downloaded thenew one and TRIED to install it on my ppc. But it didnt turn out the way i wanted it to. It asked if i wanted to reinstall - i said yes.
nothing happened and icbar was the same. i checked the version and the number hadn't changed. i did a soft reset and still no new version was listed in the settings. HELP!
should i just remove the older version and install the new one? or is there a better way?

Just installed on mine and it worked. You should close ICBar to install the Beta2. The new version will have "18 May" after ICBar 1.1 on the About tab. I also like ICBar and wanted the latest version. So far, good. Will post if I should have any problems.

I had to rename the old files to .old to get it to install. It kept saying it was running or loaded in RAM until I did the rename. But so far it works great.

I'm gonna try this when I get home. Anything to be aware of or does it work as well as the previous?
I just downloaded some of the skins. Do I just drag and drop them to my Ax like the .tsk files (same place too?)?

Bulldog, yes you can just drag and drop to any location on your Axim or on any of your storage cards. I recommend creating a folder on your Axim called something like "Icbar" just for holding skins you use with Icbar.

Thanks for the install tips it turns out i did it right the first time around. But the reason i had the initial scare was that i didn't see a difference in the new Icbar. Did anything change in terms of appearence? oh and to make sure i do have the lastest version, the about page should say "Icbar v1.1 beta 18 may"?

It's always better to uninstall the old version of PPC software before installing the new version.

is there any way to save your settings, i.e. any file to rename as old and then rename later, so you don't have to re-customize the Icbar preferences? I do this with different versions of Pocket Informant and it makes upgrading so much easier.

When you uninstall Icbar, it retains your setting in the registry so when you reinstall you don't have re-customize everything.
