Just in time debugging

Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem, know whats causing it and if there is a solution..

In the past week while surfing in IE, I have received a "just in time debugging" error indicating a problem with filesys.exe. The screen freezes and eventhough there are Yes and No buttons to continue they are inoperable. The only way I have found to get the Ax back is to do a soft reset.

Now eventhough I think its a soft reset, the device views it as a hard reset and clears everything and I have to start with a blank machine.

Thank goodness for Pocket Backup and those self executing backups on my CF card. While I really haven't lost anything, it is just plain frustrating.

Any ideas??

An excellent suggestion but for one thing. The unit is "dead"... it will not take any screen input.. thus will not accept any highlighting or dragging

BTW... I did a search on filesys.exe and there are similar occurances being reported on boards for HP, IPAQ, and Casio. All with no answers.. so how about it Axim gurus..

Amazing when you know what platform your talking about.. And I did what you said and wallah.... Nobody has any ideas what it is or how to correct it other than to do a hard reset and restore....

Sounds to me like a problem in to OS....
