Need Info on PalmOS/PPC Reader Compatibility

I've got an Axim X5/400 and my girlfriend has a Palm. We'd like to share books (other than the secured ones) so I'm trying to get some information on compatibility between the various readers available. I'm partial to the .lit format, and have many books already downloaded in this format. I need information on the various readers available on the PalmOS platform, particulary if there are any that can open the .lit formatted books.

I could use .pdf formatted books with Acrobat on both platforms, but I'm not partial to the format, and it doesn't seem very widespread. Also, I've heard that the Palm Reader is available on both platforms.

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

Palm Reader and Mobipocket are both available on both platforms.
MS Reader (.lit format) is only available on Pocket PC or Windows, not on Palm.

Mobipocket will open various formats of files, just not .lit.

I used to stick with LIT files and MS Reader, but I like to be able to have more than two or three sentences on a page, so I started using Mobipocket. It's great when it works right and will probably work fine on your X5. I'd suggest you give it a try. But with Windows Mobile 2005 it just doesn't work worth a darn.
