I am having nothing but trouble with Microsoft Money for Pocket PC. Everytime I try to sync my file with my Axim I end up with duplicate entries in Money on the PC and spend all kinda time ripping them out. Any help.

Need more information....
What version of Money are you using?
Have you checked www.microsoft.com (upper right, click support, choose money from dropdown list, type download in search box)for updates/patches etc.?

I use Money2002 w/my Axim & I do know that after you install the pocket pc program, you are supposed to synchronize before you enter any transactions. Did you do that when you installed it? If not, perhaps a remove/reinstall, synch and try again....

I used to have mm2002 working nicely. Did a hard reset to upgrade to A03, reinstalled ppc version and now it wont show up in ActiveSync. Un-installed ActiveSync and re-installed activesync/mm2002 ppc version. It's running on ppc, but wont sync with mm2002 on desktop. Any suggestions?

When I started with the Axim I found the PPC Money at the MS web site. As I recall they had very specific versions for the version of PPC Windows and your version of Money on your PC. Check those to be sure you are using the matching verisons.

I have not had extra entries on my PC, but I have noticed once in a while the version on my Axim is not correctly updated.
I found that once in a while through active sync deleting the DBs on the handheld and resynching all of them cleans things out quite a bit, and helps things run better (VERY SUBJECTIVE).

I'm running correct versions. Just can't get it to show up in ActiveSync. Oh well, I'll try it again the next time I need to do a hard reset. Heard it's a nightmare to get working on wm2003 because mm2002 isn't even compatible. :(

does anyone know ......once money 2004 is installed in cf card.....how do you get active sync to work and sync w/cf card?

Jer,
Does it show up in Active Sync -> Options -> Sync Options as something you can check to incluse in the synch?
If not, I would guess your ActiveSync doesn;t recognize the install of MS Money on your PC or Pocket Money on your Axim.
It shows up on my desktop with Money installed, but not on my laptop, which doesn't have Money installed.

I was running a trial version of Money 2003 on desktop and syncing with Pocket PC. Money 2003 expired and I replaced with Money 2004. Now I can't sync with Pocket PC. I tried to re-install, but nothing has helped yet. Your thoughts...

Check out MS web site, you have to have particular a version running on your Axim to match the particular version on your PC.
