Lefties of the world unite!!!
Does anyone know where I can get a utility to switch the right side scroll bar to the left side?
Being left handed I find it anoying to have to reach across the screen to scroll down and cover what you are trying to see/read.
( for all you right hande people, give it a whirl for a while, it gets anoying)
Thanks,
Mark

As far as I know, there is no such program.
As far as being a lefty and having to reach way across the screen, I have been an unnatural lefty since a birth injury in the WWII days. Having to reach way across the screen, all couple of inches of it, is no big deal. I'm just very happy that I have two arms and two hands, even though one is not quite as effective as the other. Having to reach clear across the screen to get to the scroll bar - live with it. There are worse things in this world to endure.

According to MS, there is no way to switch the scroll bar to the other side. I'm looking for the post in Google Groups, but I'm not feeling it tonight... I'll post back when I remember what to type in...

Since we're on the topic of left vs right...I wish there was a jog dial on the right side in addition to the one on the left.

have been searching to switch scroll bars too ...
Guess what,
tonight I have been searching all help functions, Toolsand setups in order to switch the scroll bar to the left side ...
It could have saved me a lot of time - but not the disappointment - if I had checked out Aximsite first ....
Cheers,
Roeland

shdytxmn- Man you are so right!
But I didn't post this to get the meaning of life, or the to complain.
I never meant to imply "Having to reach clear across the screen " I simply was just a User of a great system, looking to improve my own productivity. It was just a post with a little humor thrown in the mix.
I figure it's a computer that I should be able to control, not the other way around.

What's wrong with wanting the scroll bar on the left side?
And as far as the scroll bar being moved to the other side it is possible but probably only within a specific application and not the OS. I know this is possible as I have seen a program in the past where you had the ability to swap the scroll bar from one side to the other.
It's more "nice to have" than "need to have".

That wouldnt help much in the end now would it!!
I am left handed. I also just use the little scroll switch on the left side.
The funny thing is I use my RIGHT hand to move the switch. GO FIGURE!!

Holy cow! According to this poll, Lefties are the majority!
OK guys time to revolt!
No more driving on the right side of the road!
No more right handed can openers!
and finally ( my personal favorite...)
No more scroll bars on the right hand side!
 Let the beatings begin!
LOL :D
