I've noticed the screen anomalies as well. Anything that initiates a screen refresh fixes it right up. Annoying, but not a deal breaker.

It also works with my smartphone, but the keypad is problematic because it doesn't have a touch screen. I hope the developer continues to work on it.

It caused screen corruption on my X51v that would not go away after 7 soft resets. I had to perform a hard reset. Be Careful!

I noticed something funny (it was in the last version as well)

When connected but not with the remote console on the screen, the PC mouse can move onto the PDA similar to a multimonitor setup. When the console is visible this behavior doesn't happen.

It isn't a bug, but more of a feature.


This new build doesn't give me the "error code -4" on the PPC that the last one did when docking the PDA

This is indeed a feature, but I can't get it to work with my setup. It is configured by the Move mouse left or right. When the display of the Axim is off, but it is still connected, when you move your mouse you are supposed to be able to move your mouse or use your keyboard on the axim, almost like a double monitor setup. I can only get access to certain parts of my today screen, and I can't see the cursor.

I have downloaded the latest version with the same results. That and the display corruption when I disconnect the axim are my only problems. The display disruption is always fixed with the first complete screen redraw. Certainly didn't have to soft or hard reset.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I think the application now progressed to the point where it's extremely useful.

I tried v1.0 back in 2007 and I had a few issues so I went ahead and bought SOTI PocketController.

Recently I was having issues with Pocket Controller and SOTI reply pissed me off big time - basically, "yeah, we confirm a bug that caused data loss for you.. no, we won't fix it anytime soon, and once we do issue a fix you have to pay for an upgrade".

I tried the new version of My Mobiler (1.23) and was blown away. All my previous problems were gone, and in some features it actually beats Pocket Controller (e.g. the 2-pane explorer that allows to easily copy and paste files between PC and PDA). More importantly, there was a very annoying bug with IP connection on SOTI (if I unplug PDA while Pocket Controller was connected via IP, I had to manually kill PocketCon on PDA before I could connect again). There's no such bug in this application. I use it now on both home and work computers instead of PocketController - wish I waited a bit and saved $35.

Try it - you won't be disappointed.

I thought I would Bump this thread as well.

Mainly because I just noticed that you can use this via Wifi.

So for those people without a working cradle or BT, it's another way to connect.

I get an effect like the one described (the scratchy screen) whenever I use an terminate from an app called the Wisbar (I uninstalled it) with my X30.

Maybe it's better to wait for an updated version. If someone's savvy enough to make some type of refresher command that initiates after the program has been terminated that would be nice.
