Do you find the built in Windows Messaging application limiting or use something other than Exchange and find the built in Messaging application coming up short? Do you miss the power of email on other mobile devices? Now you can get the power of two way LIVE email sync, HTML email, keyboard shortcuts, immediate PUSH email, email preview, mail rules, and more without the hassle and frustrations of the Windows Messaging application with FlexMail 2007 Revision 2!
One of my biggest frustrations with using Messaging is how it seems to be geared for reading email only. If you're lucky enough to use Windows Mobile 6 and finally getting HTML email (only with newer Exchange 2007 servers) you'll find that Microsoft changed the UI to make new messages much harder to create. FlexMail 2007 brings you everything you need under Windows Mobile 2003 all the way to Windows Mobile 6. HTML email? Check. Recently redesigned intuitive user interface? Check. Sent Folder synching? Check. Hot keys for flagging/deleting/replying/forwarding/more via your built-in keyboard? Check. Instant PUSH email with IMAP IDLE and full two way LIVE email sync? Check. FlexMail crushes Windows Messaging with its IMAP and POP3 support!
If you are a heavy Exchange user - Windows Mobile Messaging is still going to be best for you. Nothing can beat Messaging at working with Exchange. Makes sense as they are made by the same company. But if you are using IMAP or POP3, then nothing comes close to FlexMail on Windows Mobile. You owe it to yourself to try out the latest release of this storied software!
If you've used FlexMail before or have a current copy then you will want to upgrade to Revision 2.2. In April we released FlexMail 2007 Rev 2 which had many months of very focused determined work on really making the best email client on any platform. We took some of our biggest critics and brought them in to our internal testing team. These guys hammered the software like a piece of steel being made into a sword. In addition, we got some very talented people on the Smartphone side as well that have allowed us to bring FlexMail to the Smartphone platform as well. In late May we updated FlexMail Rev 2 again with Rev 2.2 which has some bug fixes for SMTP addressing, IDLE settings, and long CRAM-MD5 authentications for SMTP.
If you are still skeptical we ask that you just try it out. FlexMail really revolutionizes how email on a Windows Mobile device works and as we move forward you'll be able to enjoy more productivity with our Mail Rules, superb IMAP support, and our future improvements
