Acrobat Reader 2.0 installation problem

I have not been able to use acrobat reader 2.0 since I installed it a few months ago. Tried again - and contine to get the message that 1.0 is already installed and must be uninstalled.

I uninstalled 1 .0 when I installed 2.0 months ago but tried again - ran both memmaid and sktools, have soft reset, have looked everywhere that I know of to look for 1.0 shortcuts, remnants, etc, and cannot find anything.

I have uninstalled 2.0 on both pc and ppc [x50v]and tried again to reinstall.
I searched this site for solutions but really have not found anything that worked.

Someone. please help.
Thanks.

You have to remove the 1.0 version from Activesync, the PC, and the PPC for the 2.0 version to install properly -- I'd remove "all traces" of anything that is Adobe PPC-related on the PC and the PPC...

Delete the Adobe Reader User Guide.pdf in your "My Documents" folder, then try the 2.0 installation again and it should work.
