I put this on my x51v. Seemed to have worked fine with alarm. Beautiful clock. But, you have to think, I am now going to have the display lit up all the time. I started having some problems with it.

Uninstalled it.

Not really. There is an option to awake the PPC

Click menu > settings > tag the box "wake up from suspend mode"

That should solve your problem. Otherwise contact the programmer.

Downloaded the new version. I set the alarm. At the alarm time, the Axim turned on and played this cool sounding alarm. The new version does not have any settings to wake-up from suspend mode, it's automatic.

Ok, I see the plug-in "PowerMng" that will turn off the device.

Right, but it does work. I set the alarm. Push the on/off button to off, and at the alarm time the x50v woke up like it should do.
In the previous version that was a box to tag or to untag.

I installed Chicago's "Does anybody know what time it is" wav file in the sound folder of the clock. So now when the alarm goes off, it play that.

I installed this last night and really like it. I first installed it to Program Files (X50v) and it worked fine. I uninstalled it and installed it to SD card, where it will not work. Got the message "CAN NOT EXECUTE\SDCARD\ALC2007\ALCEXEC.EXE". Guess you have to run it from BIS or Program Files. Nice little program

Features : Improved data access, quickly load and save data and start
application, changed structure and modules, less memory requirement,
change some form controls
Bugs : Fixed dissmis problem in alarm dialog

WARNING - There was changed data storage for improve performance and
reduce memory requriment, so if you have older version you must unistall
it and manually remove ALC2007.ini and AlcAlarm.dbw files from ALC2007
folder, otherwise I can't guarantee correct functionality of new ALC
application.
