MemMaid v2.0 trial works V E R Y slowly

Hi,

I installed the trial version on my HP HW6910.

The app works very slowly while performing various apps, such as loading up the notification queue or cleaning up duplicates there.

This did not happen with the previous version.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Can you open MemMaid, second tab, select the database view, then
in the listed databases, select and export to a file all databases that starts with
DB_notify_

there should be two of them under one DB volume.

Send the two xml files to support <at> dinarsoft.com

What is the 2nd tab called?

After I start MM (FYI, it takes over 1 minute (!) just to open the app (!)), I see at the bottom two options ("jump to" and "tools").

In "jump to", the 2nd option is "databases". The only applicable option there that I can think about is "database usage". Is this the one?

I'm using "protected mode".
Where can I find the export utility?
Thanks.

In the database usage view, there are two buttons with "disk" icons on them. One for export and one for import.

Select the database first then tap on the export button.

The export functionality is allowed in the "Protected" mode

Sorry, I don't see any button that says "export".

In the main window there's a list of the databases.

Above that, on the top left hand, there's a drop-down list to select which type of items should be shown. At the moment it shows "database usage".

On the top right hand side, there's a refresh button, another button with a wrench icon, that is turned off, and another button, which changes the display in the main window.

In the bottom, there's a Browse button, a Delete button, a button to open XML files, and another button which is off.

No Export button...

The disabled button gets enabled when you select a database.
So open the database tree, there will be a list of volumes.
One of these volumes contains the two mentioned databases.

Select one first, and you will see an export button enabled.

It runs alot slower on mine also. I was running ver 1.73. I have a Dell axim x50v and I run XCPU scaler at 663 htz instead of 624 htz and the ver 1.73 used to run really fast, but not ver 2.0.

Which particular feature are you referring to?

Great!
Huge performance increase.
Now startup takes a few seconds, notification queue searches are lightning fast.

Thanks!
