MemMaid 2.0 Freeze my Ax

Please excuse my tone in this post but I am really frustrated! I set memmaid to clean with a soft reset. Today I did a soft reset, the clean window comes up, I can see it cleaning, said cleaning was complete. It then froze, I have tried several soft resets, now it just freezes. HELP please.

I had also set the optomize to memory which I think changed some setting to my SD card. I now can soft reset without MemMaid cleaner starting but the Ax still freezes. Sometimes the blue Bluetooth light comes on and flashes if that makes a difference

What cleaner items were selected?

Can you try applying the tweaks to reset to Device default?

I have been able to reset to device default but I was able to do a restore of a back up. My Ax is still acting strange. I may not have paid enough attention to the items selected, I did not have it set to advance setting.

OK I did a hard reset and have everything restored, except 2.0. Before I reinstall MemMaid 2.0 do you have any Idea what I might have done wrong?

Any suggestions?

What Axim are you using? Are you using it in Protected mode or Advanced? You can do a lot of damage using Advanced mode if you're not careful. I have been running all versions of the beta with out problems on my x51v. I haven't tried the released product yet.

Any Ideas? I did fool around with the Optimise settings and have a feeling that is where I messed up. See my previous posts.

I beta tested v2 on my Axim x51v and have been using the release version. I have had no issues so far. For surfing, I use Opera, moved it's cache & download to my SD card without problems. That's all I have moved to the SD Card so far.

You mentioned something got changed/moved to the SD Card... Just wondering if it has to do with the card not being available immediately after the Axim turns on/resets?

You have a backup, good! Here's what I would do if/when you do decide to re-install MemMaid: Try one change at a time, then apply it. Don't do a lot of tweaks, cleanings or changes at once. If you try the Optimize settings, note what the settings were before & after. If your problems return, then you can try changing one thing at a time if your problem comes back. This way, you might be able to figure out what did it, if it is something MemMaid did.

Thanks, will try, probably tomorrow. I am kind of burnt out with it all today. Still looking for ideas and additional suggestions.:rolling:

Can you try changing the SD card transfer to 64K in the system tweaks?

After a hard reset.
I have downloaded the update build and all is working well. I have not used the optimize in system tweaks. My current default set up, I think, has the SD card transfer at 64 KB.
I have tried the clean at soft-reset with the defaults and it works fine. Something I did with either what I choose to clean or optimizing either the system tweaks or optimising the applications cache, I think.
