Ebook Problems

I have been downloading the free ebooks from MS after updating the reader program and activating both on my pc and ax. I can read them on my pc fine and dandy. However when I transfer the ebooks from "my library" on my pc to the ax, I cannot open them on the ax. I have tried saving the books to ax memory and to my SD card, but with no luck. Am I missing a step or something? Do I need to download to the ax and not the pc?
I noticed an annotation folder that had some small files that matched the ebooks names, but not their file size, what's this about?
Thanks

HI,

I can't answer why you can't read a book, but I can answer the annotation question. When you read a book in MS reader, it annotates where you are in the book, what is the farthes point that you have read, etc. That way when you go back to that book, you can pick up where you left off. It is sorta like a book mark.

You must soft reset after upgrading MS reader on your Axim or it will not recognize books. If you have done this then I am at a loss as to the solution.

Thanks for the link. I've been having the same problem as in the thread. I'll have to check which version I'm really running when I get home.:)

Thanks, I accidently left my ax at home, when I get back I'll check the version. The thread has the same message I've been getting. It was disappointing since I wasted the time registering and thinking all was well before a long flight.
