Best way to view webpages offline?

What is the best way to view a particular web page offline? I'm not referring to an aggregator like Avantogo or RSS feeder that feeds channels. I'm talking about certain web pages I find interesting and would want to read later on my unconnected X30. Currently, I've been copying and pasting the web pages contents into Word, saving it locally, and then transferring it to my X30. It seems there should be a more streamlined approach. Also, I don't use Internet Explorer so saving a webpage to Mobile Favorites and selecting "Make available offline" is not an option (that option is grayed out and not available anyway, i believe its some network policy that disables it).

I'm sure this has been answered many times before but I was unable to find an alternative to the Make available offline or aggregator approach. Thanks for your input!

I have always liked the combination of Sunrise XP (Sunrise XP) and Vade Mecum (Vade-Mecum: a Plucker Viewer for the Pocket PC), both freeware. With this you end up with .pdb documents (in Plucker format, originally developed for Palm) on your computer and a .pdb Plucker reader on your Axim. All you have to do is move the files over.

Copying works just fine. However, I like to automate this, particularly for pages I have configured to update regularly. For this I use the MobSync freeware version (you have to search for it) to automatically synchronize directories upon ActiveSync.

It takes a small amount of configuration work to get the system down, but the price is right and the results are excellent.

You say you don't use Internet Explorer, but don't say what you use.

If your browser suports .MHT files, the simplest solution I know and use is simply saving in this format, then opening directly with Netfront.

(You can also save; manually or automatically, using Netfront directly on your PPC)

I like Isilo. Flexible scheduling and handles most pages just fine. I have it scheduled to go to town downloading pages at midnight, and it uses Activesync to store them on the Axim Compact Flash card. I just pick up the Axim from the cradle in the AM and it is ready to go.

I also send the pages to a directory on my hard drive, in case I forget to cradle the Axim. I have a batch file I click to copy the files on hard drive to compact flash card I use in those cases.

I'd say reading pages via Isilo reader on my Axim is 70% of my use of that device.
