Looking for a picture I found this demonstration which shows the (hardware) graphic capability of the DELL AXIM x5xV series
So the program is not to be used for anything else. It also only works on a X50xV range Pocxket PC's

"The PocketFold application was written as a proof of concept about the potential application of hardware 3D graphics on the Dell Axim x50v. It's a protein structure visualization program that leverages the hardware acceleration of the Dell Axim x50v/x51v, one of the first of a new breed of PDA and PDA/Cellular devices containing hardware accelerated 2D/3D graphics. We are using it to visualize protein domains from the Foldlib library a component of the EOL project
The application is written using the embedded version of the graphics programming API OpenGL, called OpenGL ES, using Microsoft Embedded visual C++ 4.2. This is a free download from Microsoft but I see this dissapearing in time in favor of pushing Visual Studio 2005 adoption. The most recent version of the application can display a domain cartoon model, side chains and also the C-alpha backbone."
