I am very sorry for posting this here, but I know some people here use the Core Media Player on their PC's. I have the free player on my laptop but want to use it to play DVD's, so just now went and purchased Core Media Player for $9.95, using paypal. It says at the bottom of the purchase page that an email will be sent with the registration key to use in the player. I have not received an email and wondering , does anyone know how long that email takes to come. I need that regist. key to enable my Core Player to play DVD. Are they still in business??

the basic/standard package will be fine for DVD playback using the Media Player Classic app.. and FREE....

Thank you so very much, those codecs worked! I guess Core Media Player got a donation tonight from me. Still no email with the registration code. I guess I don't need it now.

Hi, no actually it arrived just this morning. A bit too late.

Just an update to this situation, I just got an email from a gentleman at Core Media, what a professional bunch of people over there! I had emailed them last night after I did not get my registration key email, and told them that I was requesting a refund. Then I changed my mind and sent them another email saying to keep the money as a donation, as I have been using the great Core Player free player for a while and it is fantastic.

Well, this email I just got states that their script generator was not working correctly, which is why I did not get my registration key immediately last night, and he sent me a paypal refund (I did tell them to keep the money)

Superb customer service, and an award winning software. I am very happy with the way this was handled and had to set the record straight. Do not hesitate to buy Core Media Player
