Does anyone of free flash cards software?

I just need the most basic functions:

Ability to create flash cards, groups them, have a HIDE/SHOW button and a NEXT button.

I found one for free but to create them you have to BUY a program for your desktop first... that sucks.

Have you checked out some of the freeware sites:

I found PocketExam but as usual... stuff from those freeware websites doesn't work!

I used the builder to create an exam but the PocketPC program shows blank... could you try and see if it works for you?

Same here.
I created a quiz and tried to import it and it wouldn't work.
I emailed the programmer and never got a response.

Search this forum for "flashcards" and "flash cards". I don't know of anything that's free. I use Acquasys Examiner myself ($20), which does let you create your own exams on the Pocket PC if you don't mind writing XML. Also take a look at SuperMemo and HandyCards.

Thanks. I guess I am going to keep looking. Can't find anything free...that works anyway.

You can also try PocketScholar. It's meant for biblical study but you can use it as a normal flashcard too.

I tried but I get errors all the freaking time...its in deep beta. Maybe after more development it will be usable.

Handy Cards is worth the cash and will do what you want (edit on the device). Examiner will not, Super Memo will but It will not do multiple choice and a lot of other things Handy Cards can for the same price.
