I have been using Wisbar2 since I started with PPC. At one time, I had used PocketPlus, but removed it because I needed the internal memory. When I used it, if I remember correctly, there was a dedicated PocketPlus close button that worked with Wisbar.
Now, I am trying out iLauncher, which I can install to a SD card. But the task manager will not work for iLauncher as long as Wisbar2 is active.
Amit Regev thought that there was a way to turn off the Wisbar task manager, but I can't see how to do this; iI can't even find a help guide for Wisbar2 on the Lakeridge website.
How have others dealt with this situation, other than mapping the iLauncher task manager to some other button - Thanks
Yes you can, But I can't remember off hand, I stopped using wisbar almost a year ago as I couldn't justify the resources just for skinning the top bar.

Now that I think about it, I used Wisbar to manage the end task and I disabled iLauncher's task manager

You both might want to check out the Public Beta for v3, which is available on the LakeRidgeSoftware website (look in the Forums and the Public Beta).
Been using WBA for 2+ years now without a serious complaint. The Beta is tighter code that consumes less resources. Additionally, iLauncher is continuing to work fine without any problems for me for about five months (or whenever it came out).
I don't see much on the Lakeridge website about a description of Wisbar 3, is there a synopsis? I do see in the Forum posts that you need a 'different' type of theme file to run this program; can I salvage the Wisbar2 themes that I purchased from Juni?
It's worth trying out if you can. Chris McKay is behind in creating the documentation for v2, so I doublt you'll be able to find a synopsis. You don't need 3rd party skins to run this, it comes with 3 different skins as defaults.
However, to answer your question, yes, you should be able to salvage skins bought from Juni. I myself was using Black&White for a while, but decided the default skin worked better with all the different applications I am now using. :)
He's getting close to the final release for v3. If you try it and don't like it, you're always free to remove the program, and you'll be no worse off for having tried...
As far as I know, there isn't a way to turn off WA2's task management since that is the main purpose of the application. You can still use WA2 skins with WA3, there may be some WA3 elements that don't get skinned until the skins are updated, but other than that they work fine.
