I'm a "middlebeginner" musician and i want some apps on my x51v to improve my skills everywhere. Unfortunatly, it's hard to find "great" apps to learn music :(


There is some soft that i found usefull
(sorry if there is some weird musical term, but i'm french ^^; )

Clef Quizz
Freeware (French).
+ :)
You learn how to read music, note by note.
You can choose between "Bass clef" and "Treble key" or mix them.

There is no question/answer mode with time, to stress user a little ^^


Notesquiz
Freeware (English).

Same as above you learn how to read music.
You have to answer the right tone AND the right octave.

You can't choose between "Bass clef" and "Treble clef", it's mixed by default.

Freeware (English). Newest version is shareware.

There's no true vga mode ;_; the interface isn't handly (too big i think)


Pocket Tune
Freeware (English). Not really a learning tool but it's usefull ^^

It's a metronome :) Simple and effective as a 20$ metronome
There's a tuner for your instrument :p

I found also some guitar fretboard learner software some times ago but it was not really great, i'll search for another apps like that soon.
