But my Axim and Stereo deck are in another room and i sometimes find my self wanting to change the station and i dont want go get up. Do you know of anyway, or any software that i can use to remote desktop my PPC so i can control my palm from my desktop.

Don't know if your asking about a Palm Pilot or PPC.

Guessing you mean PPC, there a a few options available:

There are (2) Pocket PC VNC Servers out there. One is free. One you have to pay for.

Pay: SmartLab Web Portal

Free: FreewarePPC.com - Freeware Pocket PC: PocketVncServ v0.8

I use the free one. It is very simple but it works. There is nothing that can be configured on the server. The only issue with it is that it changes screen colors, but it does work. You MUST DESELECT the AUTO "Format and Encoding" options on the desktop (or other PPC) VNC VIEWER and select a different format (RAW works as well as others). You MUST also DESELECT "Use 8-bit colour" on the viewer.

There is also Microsofts Remote Display app: Download details: Windows Mobile Developer Power Toys

It can be configured to run over TCPIP and there is also a version that does not require a client to be run on the PPC

Good luck

There are several remote controllel apps with TCP/IP (that is, LAN)-based access (if ActiveSync doesn't work with you).

The fastest and most recommended is Pocket Controller (see my review at http://www.aximsite.com/boards/appli...nal-6-0-a.html ). However, there are a lot of other, TCP/IP-cabale controllers too (they are, however, (much) slower). Just make sure you follow the links to my earlier remote controller reviews from the above-linked article.
