October 4th 2007 - Wizcode LLC (Wizcode.com | makers of Pocket Mechanic, Pocket Hack Master, Virtual Explorer, Pocket Alarm, PocketPC Mark, GPRS Keep Alive, Pocket Batter Analyzer) today announced a new version of the leading Windows Mobile maintenance utility - Pocket Mechanic Professional. Pocket Mechanic Professional v2.71 is a free upgrade to registered users of the application. The new version replaces the old Windows CE database module with a new one that was written from scratch. The CE database module adds support for all Windows Mobile platforms starting with Windows CE 3.0 and ending with Windows Mobile 6. Both CEDB and EDB databases are supported.

V2.71 of Pocket Mechanic Professional also adds new cleanup rules and fixes a number of issues from previous versions of the application. Wizcode LLC strongly recommends upgrading to this new release.

Wow, and I just downloaded the 2.7.0 demo. Its very impressive and gives all sorts of useful info that I never knew existed.

So I'm off to try 2.7.1

I just installed it yesterday as well.

Lots of features and it will take me a bit to wrap my fingers (pointer) around all the features in this amazing tool.

Thanks for the kind words! By the way we have released another update - v2.72 so I recommend upgrading to it as it fixes a few critical issues we haven't been able to reproduce and fix so far.

Upgrades are as always free to registered users. If you are not a registered user you can download a free fully functional 30-day trial from our web site.

I have an ancient version, (1.58). Is it still free? If so, how do I get the new registration code format? (More numbers and blocks for numbers than my old code).
