Has anyone tried out the new Vito Technology contact manager called FunContact on their x51v (ROM A12)? I've tried it on both my CF card and RAM. Every time I try to launch it, I get an error beep and nothing else. The website says it's compatible with WM2003, 5 and 6.

I just downloaded the trial on my x51v and had the same install troubles! Hmmm.....

Can you actually call with x51v? I thought it was only Pocket PC without phone functionality.

You can't call out, but most X51 users make use of the contacts app, to look up numbers, addresses, email, etc... So It would be useful.

If it won't run on non phone devices then it would be nice if vito could say on their site.

It does not work on my X5 either. I tried via built in storage and on sd card. I get a message to the affect of it can't find all the libraries??

PocketCM which looks 'very' similar will only run on phone devices due to some phone related dlls that it calls.

I suspect its the same issue here.

You need to copy sms.dll and phone.dll into the FunContacts directory to run it. If it isn't forbidden, I could upload it here..
