Aximsitemobileicon Does tcmp conflict with windows media player?

Does the tcmp media player conflict with windows media player. I like windows media player but am thinking of downloading tcmp to get the you tube videos.

No, I've never had a problem with any kind of conflict between the two players.

I use both on a regular basis (i have found some videos that TCPMP will not play) and I have never found any conflict between the 2. I do find that windows media player is a PAIN when trying to load videos/audio.....why do we have to add everything to the library 1st ARRGGGGG!!!

You don't. Just go to library->menu->open file.

File associations would be the only thing that would get screwed up. What u can do is only check file formats in tcpmp that wmp cant play. There is an option for this in the settings.

I did that, and then i liked tcpmp enough that i went back and checked every format.

Once you start using TCPMP you may find that you will like it better all around. I liked it so much, that I use it for everything except WMV. Some WMV videos play choppy in TCPMP and fine in regular WMP

TCPMP is stand alone, as is WMP. they will not conflict with each other, TCPMP is compatible with many more formats of media though. The free version is a lot harder to download now, but Core Player offers the same functionality! for a cost. Your question made me think, can I run them both at the same time?

TCPMP is by far the best in many ways when it comes to sound.
It has a very impressive mean of adjusting the frequency response - and I need it :)

I think you can. The free version is still available here: TCPMP

But notice it has been disc. Hopefully the new betaplayer will be just as good as tcpmp is.
