You will find this program to be more than adaquate especially if you want your memory cards kept running to perfection although it has many other features that work equally well.

50% or nothing, I won't buy another product from this company.
Why? Anybody that includes malicious code in their products that causes a hard reset and data loss doesn't deserve my $$... I don't care WHY it was included, this is just bad business.

I just read the entire thread you linked to and that happened 3 years ago. It appears the software author learned his lesson very quickly and removed the code in question with the next release. He made a mistake by going way overboard punishing people with the wrong (illegal) reg code. I absolutely don't agree with what he did, but he removed the code ASAP. As long is this stopped 3 years ago, I don't really see what the problem is.
Have you never made a mistake? Do you hold grudges for life? IMO, life's waaaaay too short for that.

Nah, I don't hold grudges... I just know enough that a dog that bites will eventually do it again.
It's about trust.
Ok.. so I assume that you're Apple and Microsoft free as well ;)

Hm, I downloaded the 30 day trial. Immediately after installation, I receive the message that the trial period has expired. No matter which download I choose.
Greetings!

Have you ever downloaded it before ? Some programs leave code behind when tested and deleted so if you download it again 6 months later, it recognizes that you're beyond 30 days.
Whether you did or didn't you ought to email them and explain. This is a great piece of software and is worth the effort.
AximX50V2008 the only explanation I have is that you installed the software before. If you wish to help me investigate this further please PM me and I will email you with a debug build that will tell us more specifics on that.
johnm356 I really wanted to reply to your post but suddenly I realized I wouldn't want to waste my time or the time of the other users of this forum with nonsense. Pocket Mechanic does not contain malicious code. I hope this is as clear as it was written. Thanks!
By the way the promotion will be closed shortly.
