Sort order on Installed Apps screen
Maybe I'm just stupid, but I can't seem to make sense of the sort order on the Installed Apps tab. I would like to see it sorted by installed date, so the most recently installed app was always the first or last item on the list. But there does not seem to be any order at all. Its not alphabetical, or by date, or by size of the program. I'll install a new app, and then have to go searching for it through the list. It seems like this tab would be much more useful if I could sort by date, or even alphabetically. Or maybe thats already there and I'm just not figuring out how to do it...

I do not believe there are any sort options. At least I have never found any.

It is currently sorted by the order it was found.
It sounds like a good idea to sort based on install date.
Are there any other opinions on sorting order?

I would lean towards alpha, but it is not a big deal to me one way or the other.

I would say whatever is the simplest to implement, as long as there was an order to it. For me, I usually am looking to uninstall the most recent program, so by install date would be the most convenient, but any order would be fine.

The built in uninstaller shows them by date installed. I'd prefer alphabetical as it's easier to find what you are looking for.

MemMaid 2.2 has been released and it includes alphabetical sort for the installed programs.

I manually uninstalled the old version of MemMaid and then MemMaid V2.2 installed.

So, now only there's alphabetical sorting? (At least I don't see how to sort by time in v2.2...). I think that all of us would have preferred this as an option in the configuration screen... :(
And, about the feature of exporting the list, I have a little request:
though I love the idea of exporting the list of installed applications to a .txt, it would be better (IMHO) to have 2 possibilities:
1. Export all information to .txt (as currently)
2. Export a "simplified list" to .txt
What I mean with "simplified list"? Just this info:
-Name of the application,
-installation path (or even only if it's installed in Memory or in Storage Card),
-version (if possible),
-total size (if possible, else just .exe size),
-install date (I'm unsure if this one is really necessary...).
Nothing more (no dlls, no registry, etc...). And that "simplified" .txt should be properly formatted in order to be easily importable by Excel (for example, a CSV txt file).
Why? Because I think that when we *really* need to inspect the exported list is when we have to reinstall all our applications after a ROM upgrade, or a Hard Reset. And the information excess of the current full list is totally counterproductive and overwhelming in those circumstances, for just a total reinstalling process.
Just my two cents... ;)
Please note that I love Memmaid, specially since version 2.0. I just throw this suggestion to see it even more improved, if possible. I really need this functionality (currently I have to maintain a list of all my installed applications manually using the program ListPro (nice program) for pocketPC, but it's a pain...).
Regards
PD: There's a little bug with the alphabetical order also: applications not starting with CAPS appear at the end of the list!

Hi,
I remember in MM2.0 installed applications were sorted by date. In current MM 2.2 I have the impresion they are sorted alphabetically (Starting by numbers) but not of the application itself but of the "full application name" (I mean for Memmaid is not the M but the D from Dinarsoft.
For me there should be the option to choose the sorting criteria.
Regards
