Encrypting private data on your Pocket PC
For a few years now, I've been using CryptoStorage on my PPC ( SinanTech Crypto Storage - Advanced security for Pocket PC 2002/Windows Mobile 2003), but they have not updated their product since September 2005. Not saying more needs to be added to the app, but the version hasn't moved since 2005.
What are you using to encrypt files on your ppc/storage cards? Not really talking about programs like Resco File Explorer or eWallet, but something stronger than typical apps.

I don't. I used to, on my Palm, but stopped using it there, too. I do use a secure password storage application (eWallet these days). Perhaps one of these products might pique your interest?

I use FreeOTFE (that also has a desktop version). However it doesn't have a timeout feature, which I consider important. As long as there's no bugs and most features are present, there's no real need to update any security application often - the encryption standards didn't change since 2005. However, I would question the quality of closed-source encryption program coming from an unknown source.

Hi,
eWallet's 256-bit AES FIPS encryption is pretty darn strong. And eWallet 6.0 lets you insert files into the wallet and encrypt them.
Now I wouldn't suggest it for encrypting large numbers of files or whole folders worth, but if you have a few key files you want secure, eWallet would definitely do the trick.
