Custom colours ignored

With HandySwitcher 3.0/3.1, I've found it impossible to change the menu colours, no matter which setting I use. This is on WN2003SE. No theme or theme management s/w in use.
Thanks for any help,
bob

Dear Customer,

You need to disable the menu background image first.
While the menu background image is enabled, the changes you'll see in the colors are for selection and text color only.

The background I've got is a plain .tsk file. If I delete it, the system reverts to 'Bliss' or 'Windows default', which can't be deleted. I can't see how to have a completely empty screen - it doesn't seem to be a choice.
It's just a small thing, so not to worry.
Thanks anyway,

bob

Dear Customer,

We're actually talking about a feature in HandySwitcher,
- Please go to HandySwitcher's option
- Switch to the "display" tab
- In the "Background image" option select "none"
Now try the menu and it will follow all the colors you select. While the option for the "background image" is enabled (custom or theme images) the menu background will use the chosen image not the selected colors.

Thanks, you're a star. I was looking to turn the background off in the Today screen settings, not in HS itself.

Thanks again,
bob
