Aximsitesoftwareicon Anyone tried eWallet Software?!?

Has anyone tried the eWallet software by Ilium Software?
I'm considering putting it on my X5 (WM2003) but was hoping to get some non-bias comments. Here's the link.

It's outstanding...
It beats both CodeWallet Pro and Spb Wallet hands down IMHO.

I use it all the time, it's great! The Pro version lets you sync the wallet between your PC and PDA.

In fairness, I have not tried any of the others, so I have no comparison. But eWallet does everything I need, so there has never been a need for me to try others.

Is it pretty user friendly, or is it one of those programs that you need to have a special degree to set it up.... then using it is easy?.?.?

I've been a beta tester for SPB Wallet since (I think) day 1. It's very good but I use eWallet all the time. SPB Wallet is relegated to my backup x51v.

I would say it is very user friendly. With just one or two clicks, you can create a new entry. (One if you don't use categories) There are plenty of pre-defined types of entries (Password, credit card, etc.) and then for each there are the fields you would typically need.

It is good. I have several Ilium products and like them all.

I also have CodeWalletPro and SplashID, both currently uninstalled. ;)

You can try it for 30 days before you buy it, then if you do buy it all your cards etc from the trial period are still there.

ALWAYS try before you buy. You might try the others, too, just to know what you like.

I use the PC version almost every day because with so many user names and passwords for work and home, it's much easier to just open eWallet and click on the link and it automatically adds the user name and password for you.

I've been using it daily for the past year. It's very easy to use and syncing to the PC is great. :approve:

Think I'll try it myself. I think I need something a little more secure than Outlook/PI.

I have been using the PC and PDA sync version (I think they call it the Professional Edition) for many years on my X5. I installed it last year on my new ipaq when I upgraded. IMO, that company provides some excelent and fast support also.

I've been using it since the last time I posted - finally paid for it. Works really well. Now that I have it installed and all my critical data moved there I'm a lot less concerned if my device should get stolen. I don't bother locking it with a strong password any more because all the important stuff is in the "wallet" which IS behind a strong password. Very nice.
