Typango Question

For anyone who has used Typango quite a bit:

I am currently using the trial version, trying to decide if I like using this utility, and I find that I often type a letter adjacent to the one I intended. For stylus typing, I do fine, but when I try to thumb type, I run into these major accuracy problems, even when I try to go fairly slowly and be careful. Is there one of the skins that is less prone to this kind of overlap, or is that pretty much how they all are?

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.

I haven't used it at all, but I was checking it out, and on download.com searching for pocket pc, they have a plethora of different skinz. Check it out, maybe there is something there. And let me know if you get it to work nice with big digits.

I paid for and downloaded Typango, because their ads were so attractive.

I've been very disappointed, and have basically abandoned Typango in favor of using the keyboard and stylus. I have fairly small fingers, and hoped that the Typango keyboard would enable me to type on screen. Couldn't do that. So maybe I could operate the keyboard with thumbs or forefingers. Couldn't do that. The one thing that sort of worked was to use the stylus in my right hand, and forefinger of my left hand--I was more accurate that way. Still there were a lot of errors. There is a marginal difference between skins, so that you can improve to one error per word instead of two, or maybe even one per three words.

I then used Typango Jr., with the Old Remington keyboard, using the stylus, and that worked fairly well. I learned to appreciate the word completion, but the function board (or panel) on the left continued to bother me. Every time I wanted to delete something, I had to cross over the keyboard to the left, and often I would hit the wrong key on the function board/panel.

I'm thinking of trying Fitaly next, partly to try its an educable word completion. As a last resort, I'll get a keyboard.
