Pocket TV Browser is back!!!!

Jeff has done it. Pocket TV Browser is back. The current version is 1.60. He has made the version available on the Pimcity website. The new Listings provider he has a relationship with is Evolve Communications (the same vendor of SecondScreenTV). PTVB is still a free app. Registration to get listings is done through Evolve. You can get listings on a trial basis. Registration is $10.00 for a year of listings. I don't think that is bad at all, especially considering getting 100% support from Jeff and Evolve as well as the assurance that the service will not be discontinued. It works great. PTVB also doesn't do any screenscraping so no worries about format changes and other issues.

I am happy that I can get listings again.

Hello, I have been using PTV Browser for some time now and I love it. But have you ever had any download issues lately, I have been getting request data from evolve
error 10035 req data from 209.101.12.62 and it attempts 1-10 times before it times out, never had that happen before, I emailed the problem to evolve they show everything working on their end. So I wonder if anyone else has had this issue, my version is 1.64, I know there is a version 1.71 but I have not tried that.

I've been using it for months now without an issue. 1.71 definitely works great - I'd suggest going ahead with that.

Same here. I am running version 1.71 build 03 and I have not had an issue since installing it.

thanks I have updated to 1.71 today and tried downloading, but I continue to get this same error message, I sent this to evolve and i hope they can figure this out, because I don't understand what is going on

Post a message in pimcity's forums. They seem to be very helpful when people post questions and problems. Certainly they will know more about this than Evolve will.
